Michigan Department of Health and Human Services– The “MDHHS” provides multiple resources/guidance regarding navigating healthcare with a disability. They are not a service provider but can help you find potential service providers. They also have a helpful “Grants and Programs” Chart for those navigating developmental and or intellectual disabilities.
Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council– Please consider contacting the “MDDC” if you need some guidance on programming, resources, and opportunities for your loved one or you concerning your disabilities.
Office of Recipients Rights– If you need literature on your rights as an individual living with an intellectual and or developmental disability, this is a good place to begin! If you require legal assistance regarding your disabilities, please consider contacting Disability Rights Michigan.
